We got a great Spring deal here and made the trek to the top of Vermont--it was so worthwhile. The Tram House rooms were beautifully appointed with woodsy-decor...we had a deck with a slope side view where we enjoyed the afternoon sun and cocktail hour. The bed was very comfortable, the pull-out couch was not--but what pull-out couch IS? The kitchenette was complete with higher-end pots and pans and everything else to make meals. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The only criticism is that the one elevator often took a while to get so we used the stairs quite a bit--a good way to stretch before and after a day of amazing skiing!

We stayed here for one night. Would have stayed additional nights, if they had availability. We truly enjoyed our time at the hotel, very clean with great service. The mountain view was exceptional. The ski resort actually had good food (not common at many other ski resorts that we have stayed at). We look forward to next season.

Went to jay peak for a hockey tournament and stayed at the tramhaus. The resort is beautiful, rooms are well designed. The water park is amazing. The skiing is good, but best for intermediate/advanced skiers.

However, the staff just don't seem to like working there. I don't think I saw any of them smile the whole weekend. The check-in staff are lazy and unhelpful. We showed up early because of a tournament hockey game and tried to check-in. Although they knew we were waiting, they made no attempt to get the room cleaned early, or switch with a room that was already ready (apparently changing a room number is 'a lot of work'). I heard several other guests complain about similar problems.

The hotel was busy, so we tried to keep the room tidy, and left a good tip for housekeeping, but they didn't even bother to pick up all the towels.

The single elevator isn't enough to serve the building, if you don't like stairs get a room on a lower floor.

All in all, we still had a great time, but this place is going to go downhill fast unless someone steps up.

Room Tip: The rooms are all good. Some face the ski hill, but those that don't still have a good view. T...

We stayed at the Tram Haus for 5 nights. It included our ski pass and entry to the waterpark. The Tram Haus lodging is perfect. Lockers for your skis located downstairs and a 1 min walk to either the Tram or the triple chair lift or the quad right outside the door. Could not have asked for better.

The rooms are great. Well equipped with a full kitchen. Great big king size bed in a spacious room. Huge bathroom and a pull-out couch for our daughter in the living room. The cleaning staff are great, kind and friendly and our room was cleaned everyday before 11:00a.m. We had a mountainview which was fabulous.

We will return!

Room Tip: Book early to get a mountainview room. The valleyview rooms are also nice. Get a room with a balco...

My daughter and I stayed here FEB 2014 for our 3rd annual father - daughter ski trip. No disappointment here. I am retired and my daughter is 25. Pay the extra for the one bedroom suite with view of the hill. Lots of room for 2-4 people. Kitchenette and pull out sofa. SKIING was superb ( as always). Forget the waterpark unless you have kids under 14. It is a zoo - even the hot tub is too full to enjoy. Restaurant choices are limited but the ski in-ski out convenience makes up for it. If you order pizza from DICK'S avoid 5-7 PM RUSH. So plan ahead.

Room Tip: Pay the extra for the one bedroom suite with view of the hill. Lots of room for 2-4 people. Kitchene...

My sister's family and my family each rented a 2 bedroom condo at the Tram Haus Lodge for 5 nights during the Cdn March Break. Last year we had a 1 bedroom and decided we wanted the extra space. The room's were absolutely perfect and very well equipped. We were lucky to have over 2 feet of fresh snow so the skiing was excellent. The lift operators were super nice and occasionally slowed the lifts if needed for my youngest. We had appetizers at the Tower Bar and a supper at The Foundry. I would go back to both.
There were a few things that have slipped since last year. None would be show-stoppers.... There appears to be inadequate cleaning staff for the room's. When we are paying $589 a night, the least I would expect would be a cleaning service each day. This only happened our first morning and the rest of the week, they would come late afternoon when we were preparing for supper. The water park remains a fun option for evenings though it would be better if it stayed open till 10 pm. There was a very terrible smell along where the snack bar was. This was easy to avoid by staying on the other side of the lazy river. There were fireworks last year for the Cdn March Break but none this year. Both of our ski lockers didn't work so even though we mentioned this the first day, they still weren't working when we left 6 days later. It just meant a lot of bringing the skies and boards up to our room. I know we will b back but if the little things can be fixed, it would go a long way.

The Tram Haus Lodge was very good. When I went the room was all clean and very organized. the beds were very comfortable.Room cleaning comes every day and honestly if you are the messiest person in the world after they've cleaned it looks like the room is brand new.
There are three ski lifts right outside of the lodge and are very easy to get to. Two of which take you to the top of the mountain and the otter one takes half way up especially for beginners. There is a pizza place that has excellent pizza, salads, and pasta. There are two restaurants the Tower Bar and Alice's Table (i'd recommend Alice's Table). The Tower Bar has horrendous everything. The Tram Haus Lodge was fantastic overall and i will be returning!

Room Tip: Rooms on higher floors have more space and have kitchens.
