“Awesome food and Wonderful Staff”
Reviewed February 25, 2014

After being frustrated by Jay Peak's poor service across two of their dinner-time restaurants, our large party decided to go off-mountain. We ended up eating here three nights in a row due to our first night's excellent experience and each night we added more people to our party (Started with 14, the next night we had 19 and the third night we brought 24 people, including kids!). Butch, Marty, and Angelique were our servers at varying times and David at the front desk was a stud to work out dinner details with each night. Meals were served promptly, were very reasonably priced, excellent selection (and boy did we order everything!) and the bar was great. We did not have a single complaint and even had free entertainment when two nights in a row, folks came in trying the 'Ghost Wing' challenge. One succeeded, one failed -- both were fun to watch and the atmosphere had the entire restaurant chanting their names. Oh, and they have a large but cozy fireplace to hang out next to...

This place is right across from the gas station on your way into Jay Peak Resort, I'd say roughly five miles from your stay. Highly recommended.

“Fantastic Food and Atmosphere!”
Reviewed February 24, 2014

The Jay Village Inn is a Gem in Northern VT. Who would think that one could find such delicious food, sweet hospitality, and such a comfortable atmosphere in the Northern reaches!! The menu is inspiring and mouth-watering! Holly and Vern have a fine running machine right in the foreground of Jay Peak Resort, it's a must stop - especially for Holly's famous Bloody Mary's!!! (It's Rule #3a!!)

“Great Hamburgers”
Reviewed February 21, 2014

We stopped at the Jay Village Inn for lunch while on our way to Jay Peak. The three of us had cheeseburgers. The burgers were great. The ground meat was from a local slaughterhouse and the cheese was Cabot cheddar. The meat was cooked perfectly and the roll was very fresh. In addition to a great burger, the overall feel of the place was great. It had a great vibe which is well suited to skiers and snowmobilers. I would recommend this stop for lunch!

“Great alternative to dining at Jay Peak Resort”
Reviewed January 8, 2014

I have been here twice with my family on two separate trips to the Jay Peak Resort. It is a great alternative to dining on the mountain. It is a short drive down 242 from the mountain. Food is good, not great, and portions are large. They had an incredible blueberry martini on our most recent trip. They ditched the pool table which was a big disappointment to my kids but it has allowed them to be more of a restaurant than restaurant bar. The decor is SkiVAST trail which is appropriate and expected. The Jay Country Store is across the street which is a nice spot to visit after dinner. This place will always be a stop for us when at the Jay Resort!

“best breakfast ever”
Reviewed November 15, 2013

I've only been here for breakfast though they serve lunch and dinner as well. the bacon sausage gravy is phenomenal. The Benedict is one of the top 3 I've ever had and I get eggs benny everywhere I go. the breakfast burrito could feed three people and the prices are pretty reesonable. Also have a fantastic bloody mary
