We first stayed at the Tyler Place in 1988 with a three year old. it rained almost every day that year and we still "re-enlisted" for the following summer. The kids programs kept our child happy and we were free to do our own thing. We have been going almost every year since (with 2 years off when our son was "too old"). For the last 5 years have been going with our extended family including our daughter and her 7 yr old, and our son(now 24 who loves to fish). This is the kind of place where each of us can do whatever we want all day and get together for meals. Great meals!
I have NEVER seen kids adjust as easily as at the TP. One year we took our 8 year old nephew who had never been away from home. We were nervous that he would have a hard time fitting in but instead by the second day he was kayaking to the lake trampoline and having a great time.
I love that there are no TVs or phones in the accommodations. We don't miss them and neither do the kids.
We consider this our summer place.More
