Some might consider the diner to be in the boondocks, but it is worth the trip given the quality of the food. This is strictly a breakfast/lunch place with a simple menu. Most things are local and the management shares who provides what.
We were there for breakfast and the turquoise and white diner booth motif wasn't cheerful, clean and not overdone. The counter offers a lot of seating for singles and pairs. Breakfast was to our liking, down to the gluten free toast option. Even the tea was good enough for me to look at the tag.
My friend said the granola was superb, though I am not a granola fan, and not really sure how that is possible. The waitstaff was attentive but not pesky. It is a little pricey; but seems worth it for the quality.
