“Spectacular cascade fo water”
Reviewed May 28, 2013

I wouldn't call them falls per se but a grand series of chutes and cascades. My wife and I spent about an hour watching the water flow. Very spectacular! I could have stayed longer. This is an attraction worth going out of your way to see. Highly recommended.

“More of a gorge than a falls”
Reviewed February 27, 2013

a narrow twisting canyon 300 feet, which constricts down to 3 feet 5 inches. There are good potholes, minor cascades and falls. The area is well maintained by the Green Mountain National Forest with bridges over the river for best viewing. Off the beaten path downstream is another waterfall for the true waterfall enthusiasts.

“Beautiful Spot”
Reviewed September 13, 2012

The rushing water and small gorges make this a beautiful spot to visit. It's nice to take a walk in the quiet woods and look at the moss-covered landscape.

A little side trip off the main highway, with a woodland scene with pretty water fall.

“Peace and tranquility”
Reviewed May 7, 2012

This place has suffered over the last couple of years from flood damage but it has not detracted from it's beauty and the the actual "Falls Walk" has been totally re built. Fantastic walking alongside the river and good picnic areas with covered facilities in case of rain - this is Vermont after all!
