Just finished having a delicious breakfast at the Whistlestop Cafe. Inviting, cute, great service. Breakfast food was delicious! Kudos to the sweet potato biscuits, "a must" to try. It's about 18 minutes up north of Hanover, NH on I-91, but well worth the short trip. The drive is beautiful and my guests and I really enjoyed the scenic drive north. We also noticed they have an intriguing bottled beer collection for dinner or lunch--no tap, but that's ok. It was a Saturday at around 11am and earlier guests were finishing up so no wait, but continuous customers coming in. Out back, they were barbecuing for their lunch and dinner menu, noticed brisket on their dinner menu, which is a good sign with other barbecue offerings (it was mid-May). Really enjoyed the atmosphere and food! If you are in the Hanover/Dartmouth area, a really great alternative to the weekend crowds around the college. Going to go back one day this summer for dinner.
