Wonderful experience staying in a beautiful historic inn. The complimentary breakfast was very good, with home baked pastries such as popovers/muffins hot out of the oven. The breakfast also included cereals, fresh fruit, bagels, toast, yogurt, coffee, tea, and waffles you make yourself. The afternoon tea was also excellent, with homemade cake and cookies. But the best part of the stay was the people. The owners, Greg and Sharon Parke, and Natalie were quite friendly and eager to do anything they could to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. My wife and I highly recommend the Marble Mansion Inn.

This Inn is a hidden gem located on the Town Green in Fair Haven VT. The original owner was the grandchild of Ethan Allen, and subsequently the Allen family had owned the home until 1975. The rich history is readily volunteered by the new owners who take great pride in their beautiful Inn. We stayed in room 1 - The Rudyard Kipling Room. Very comfortable bed and beautifully furnished. Each room has it's own marble fire place, as well as the double marble fire places in the living room! Twelve foot ceilings with ornate plaster crown moulding, 10 foot windows...absolutely beautiful!
Fresh muffins, popovers, pumpkin bread and make you own waffles with Vermont maple syrup was more than enough to start the day.
The Inn is going to be spruced up a bit over the winter and spring. I wish the new owners much luck, and am looking forward to another stay next year!

Beautiful House with phenomenal ceilings overlooking quintessential New England Town Square. Warm and caring hosts with best breakfast of the trip. My Partner was particularly impressed with making her own waffles! The home baked Pumpkin bread was delicious and the night was peaceful and more than comfy. Only minor point is the tiny shower which lets the room down slightly. Not worth bothering about though! Great place.

Close to the end of our coast-to-coast bicycle tour, we arrived exhausted late in the day with no reservations and were not only welcomed but helped with unloading our gear and presented with a large CRYSTAL pitcher of ice water. Not only that, but the rates are reasonable. This place is an elegant piece of heaven in gorgeous Vermont.

Spent an evening in Mid-May at the Inn. Staff was courteous, helpful, and pleasant. Room was warm and cozy, with fine furnishings and a large marble fireplace. The Inn is under new management (The Parkes) and they have a done a great job. Fair price and highly recommended. Went to nearby Lake Bomoseen to canoe and golf.

My family of four was very luck to find our stay at the Marble Mansion Inn in late night of last Thursday when we were heading to Lake Placid. The architecture of the mansion and the interior decor are classic and formal - the pure white marble mantles in all guest rooms are really beautiful, and the Inn owners are very kind and warm. We are very enjoying the history and stories they told us on the original and the subsequent owners of the fantastic building. The location is great just in the town center with a beautiful public park in front. The breakfast room is elegant and looking through the green grassy backyard shining out under the sun..
We are happy to know the MM and will visit her again when we come back the region.

My husband & I just wanted to escape for a weekend and boy did we find the perfect place! The Marble Mansion has new owners after the previous owner passed away a few years ago. They were so nice and the place is amazing! The architecture was unbelievable and the bed was SO comfortable. Best sleep I've had in years! Breakfast was served on fine china with home baked goods and fresh fruit: delicious!
