Description: Turkish food is a true fusion of many different cultures, a collage of different cuisines so to speak. Turkey, geo-physically located as a bridge between Europe and Asia, has been a melting pot of many civilizations since the beginning of history. Once the land of Hittites and the Greeks, it later became the home of the Turks, a nomadic peoples. Therefore, its cuisine is not only a collage of all the cultures that lived in Turkey throughout history, but also a collage of cuisines from all the lands Turks lived before settling in what was then called Asia-Minor. Today's Turkish cuisine is a fusion of Turkic, Ottoman, Greek, Persian, Arabic, Lebanese, and Armenian cooking that can be defined as a true and unique Mediterranean food experience. Turkish food, as most Mediterranean food, relies heavily on appetizers called "mezes" and especially the freshest of ingredients. Although it has many meat specialties, it is predominantly based on fresh vegetables. Therefore, it offers a perfect combination of vegetarian and meat dishes, appealing to a broad spectrum of the eating public.

My wife and I are on a short ski vacation from NJ, and were really very impressed. A great family run restaurant (two brothers from Istanbul who were a pleasure to chat with) makin' it happen. Service and food were superb. One of the brothers was trained at The Four Seasons in Istanbul. Highly recommend. The homemade bread, haydari (cucumber sauce), bulgur croquettes, and the mixed grill kebab (great to share) and mixed veg kebab were excellent. As good as what we've had in NY. Add the excellent service and it's better.

We lived in Turkey for three years and were very curious to try the food at this restaurant. Arrived on a Saturday evening to a full house which is always a good sign. The waitress was very nice, knew the menu/dishes, and prompt. We were thrilled at the quality and taste of everything! The meze platter of appetizers is a must-get sampling. The stuffed grape leaves and babganoush were the highlights. We ordered Adana kebabs for a main meal. We lived in the Adana area for three years and these kebabs were exactly what we remembered. Delicious. I will be going back again!

Had a wonderful meal. Turkish Red Wine was delicious, fruity and delightful. 10 dollar appetizer plate with incredible home baked bread was superb. Some truly unique sauces to dip into with the bread. Lamb casserole was wonderfully flavorful, and Swordfish kabob excellent! Maple Baklava for dessert well worth trying! We sat at the bar and one of the owners was a greatl host! Truly a wonderful, unique place-A MUST try if you are in the area.

I was visiting Burlington and tried the restaurant on someone's recommendation.

Chicken Adana kabob were well done and very delectable. The lavash bread was filling and cooked properly. The yogurt drink Ayran was nice too. My wife ordered a mixed veggie kebab- which wasnt that filling and was just ok. So I would suggest to stick with meat items.

My first brush with turkish fare was super.

The ambience was nice and service was very friendly and nice.

We had a Jump-on-It coupon for this place so decided to try it today for lunch. A little out of the way and not the easiest to find, but well worth it. You know how you can just sometimes tell they care when you walk into a place? Can totally tell it here. Very clean, cloth napkins and table clothes, nice silverware, ie, just all the extra touches.

I'm assuming one of the owners, greeted us, sat us, and served us. Spoke just a little bit of English...which I take as a good sign! Turkey kebab plate for $7.99 and Beef tenderloin wrap for $9.99, tough to beat those price. Meat was super tender on both and excellent seasoning. I hope they make it being a realatively new place. Location is a negative, especially being outside the tourist areas of Burlington, but hopefully enough locals find out about this place to keep them in business.
