“Redneck drunk smoking hangout”
Reviewed July 14, 2013 via mobile

This place isn't a family spot. Overcrowded dump. It's full of tailgate rednecks teens young losers drinking and smoking. No security guards or police very unsafe. No lifeguard. I didn't even stop just drove off after not finding a parking spot.

What a tragedy. Out of staters go back home you ruined out local spot. Take your tourism $$& with you.

Thanks

Absolutely beautiful views! This lake has hiking around it, some beaches (including a nude beach), and fishing/boating.

“A Great Day Trip...”
Reviewed June 28, 2013

The Lake Willoughby area is a great place to stay or visit as part of a day trip.. There is a nice beach at the North end... Can be a little windy.. but on a warm summer day is very refreshing. Great spot for a little family fun!..

“This lake is the most beautiful in all of New England.”
Reviewed June 18, 2013

Clear water (though cold -- it's spring-fed), loons, mergansers, mallards, great fishing, canoeing, kayaking, sailing. It's getting crowded now, which is sad, but the mountains and the lake are still magnificent.
