Had dinner in the beautiful Dorset Inn's dining room with friends from New York State. Mussels in spicy tomato broth were delicious - perfectly cooked and spiced. One of our guests had the sauteed liver with onions and bacon which was delicious, evidenced by a completely empty place.
His wife had the shrimp with pasta in a light sauce. The other guest had swordfish, simply prepared to allow the flavor of the fish to come through. It was a delightful meal, in a lovely room.
The service was excellent. And if you like bread pudding, you simply HAVE to have the Dorset Inn's version. La Vazza capuccino topped the meal off. Wonderful evening.
