We found this motel quite adequate especially for the price. It was clean with friendly staff and front desk. Breakfast was somewhat minimal but acceptable. Would suggest real cream for the coffee instead of the artificial cream as well as better quality coffee cups (they used the cheapest flimsy styrofoam ones).
Had trouble with the Wi-fi for the first day. It tended cut out. Seemed to work fine on our last day though so maybe they fixed it.
Bed was comfortable but noisy.
All in all, we would stay here again.

Kept quoting different prices, each time higher. Do not seem to understand the hotel industry standard of room prices being quoted for double occupancy. Rooms are small and ugly. PRICEY for nothingness of it! No coffee maker, no refrig. Avoid if possible...

place is due to be redecorated, but the room at least was quiet. quite nice towels, but the pillows were like rocks. i had to fold up my fuzzy for a pillow. kind of pricey, but they're almost the only game in town. was alarmed by an earlier review citing bedbugs, but did not find any. :-)

Better than the one-story 50s-era motels of so many small towns, this former Super 8 is a modern-era "chain" motel with a private owner. Very clean, neat, and friendly, it's also affordable. Don't expect the Ritz, because it's a basic overnighter, but it gets four stars for being clean, affordable, and up-to-date -- a place you could stay without qualms that you might have made a mistake. If I ever end up in Derby, VT again, I'd stay there for sure.

The Four Seasons Motel in Derby is just across from the Cdn Border in Quebec and VT. its handyt othe interstate, and is actually a great litle spot, the staff is great, the rooms clean, they have everything you need for a stopover, restaurants and services near by,, Macdonalds 2 doors down.
its not the 4 seasons, but its a nice clean place.

The room was fine, the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was adequate. Towels weren't great, but not bad either. For a low priced motel it was fine.

We saw two other motels in Derby, and judging from the outside, I would not want to go in. We went there because we we heading to Canada on I91 and Derby is about 5 minutes from the border. There we also nice places to eat near by. We had dined at the Cow Palace. It was decorated with a lot of stuffed game, and there was an Elk farm abutting the parking lot. You can try Elk steaks inside, if you are adventurous. (It was interesting.)
