Stopped in on our way home for our first visit to this restaurant. My husband ordered the pulled pork sandwich with hand cut fries. He said it was very good. I was going to order the same, but they had only one order left (it was around 3:45 P.M.) so I ordered the chicken pot pie. The pie was chuck full of chicken and vegetables, and was served on warm biscuits. They had the perfect amount of gravy: not too much as to drown everything, but not so little that it was dry. Very nice meal. Waitress was very friendly and helpful. They also sell various woodwork crafts, including bird houses. Nice place... would go there again. This restaurant is quite small, so larger groups for special occasions would be tough to accommodate. Has a down home atmosphere, so if you want wine and candles, go elsewhere! Very good home cooking featuring your typical comfort food.
