I stayed at the Quality Inn during probably the busiest weekend of the year (foliage season, parent’s weekend at University of Vermont, other events) – I paid full + price. ($156 all in)
The motel is located next to a modern Motel 6 and McDonalds and Burger King next to the Interstate.
It is a modest place – here is what was remarkable to me.
The hotel has exterior corridors on 2 of the 3 floors. I really dislike this design because it means you keep the shades closed all the time because everyone walking by can look into your room.
I could hear the people above (wood framed building) but it wasn’t too bad at all. I have experienced much worse.
The bedspread on the bed was is just a piece of material (not a duvet/comforter) - I took it off the bed right away.
The small room was clean – I didn’t see anything amiss.
The grounds around the building were well kept – a sign of good management.
The selection of the included breakfast was the best I have seen – it included scrambled eggs and sausages on top of the regular cereal, hard boiled eggs, bagel/toast, yogurt, milk, fruit, pastry, and self-serve waffles. A nice touch.
All said, I would say the Quality Inn is a perfectly adequate place to stay.More
