I would never return to Blue Cat Cafe. i had one of the worst steaks I've ever eaten. The restaurant appears to be in an office building, but thats fine if the food were ok which was not the case.

this was a cute, romantic food spot located in the alley off the main square in the downtown burlington area. i had the grass-feed steak from vermont... quite good. service was VERY attentive... wine list OK... it is in an odd location, so do not be put off by the exterior entrance... cute stuff.

Lovely little dinner spot that is tucked away within a building. We had a little trouble finding it but that kind of added to the allure. The lights are set to dim and it is quite small...two features that make it a cozy and romantic spot for dinner or drinks. The menu was pretty classic and my date and I both chose the foie gras over steak. It did not disappoint! The meat was cooked to a perfect medium rare. We chose a lovely Cotes du Rhone that complimented the food. They also serve grilled pita with housemade hummus instead of bread and butter. Yumm-o!

We went to Blue Cat for an after dinner drink. We ended up staying and drinking two bottles of wine with our group. The wine list is extensive and very reasonably priced. The advice from the sommelier was "spot on" with what we were looking for. Our only regret was that we did not have dinner there! We will definitely eat there our next trip.
