“Bartender was absolutely horrible!”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 28, 2013 via mobile

Bartender was absolutely horrible! Had dinner in the lounge and CLEARLY was interrupting the bartenders dinner as he came to the table and said " do u need dinner menus?" All while chopping on his dinner. Gave the other customers flack too about remembering their drinks. Slouched around on the couches in the lobby, walked around talking on his cell, and even served patrons while on his cell. Horrible service, if any at all, and if this were my first impression i would never return at all! Good thing we like this hotel!

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on your recent experience with the bartender at the Courtyard Burlington Harbor. I am very sorry that he was not more engaging and helpful. I will follow up to see what the issue was as this behavior is very much out of character.

Best Regards,

Joe Carton

We went to Burlington for a quick overnight. The hotel is right on the water with nice views. The walk to Church St is very short. The people are friendly and helpful. The hotel room was large, immaculate , and beautifully decorated. If we were to come back to Burlington, we would stay here again.

Starting with confusing and incorrect directions to unpleasant surprise in the room.
There are certainly better places in Burlington than this one.
Great location, but it hardly compensates the other inconveniences.

Room Tip: A huge difference compared to the Burlington Hilton, while there is no real price difference. Heati...

great hotel...clean, friendly, great bar area, very relaxing...only downside is they charge additional for parking. Had breakfast in the hotel (off of the menu) and many of their options are from local farms/bakeries ...which is nice..and really delicious. quiet room, comfy bed.

A very nice hotel right with a the perfect location and great views of Lake Champlain!
The room was very nice, on the 7th floor, very quiet.
There was some construction going on in the parking lot, but it was no problem. Within walking distance to all the fun spots in Burlington.
Will stay there often, since our son will be attending college in Burlington.

Room Tip: The lobby is very lively at night, so choose a high-floor room if noise bothers you.

Pros: Quiet. Beautiful view - 8th floor. Room was clean and staff was friendly. I had breakfast in the restaurant which was also good (did not try the buffet).

Cons: I didn't like the parking situation... it's an extra $8 to park in a garage/day which is also shared with the public. I also did not like that the entry way into the hotel from the parking garage was never locked. At first I assumed the door did not lock because it was during the day, but when I arrived late one night, the door still remained unlocked...I felt it was a bit unsafe because anyone can enter the hotel from the garage and walk around without any form of security in between.

Other than the parking and unlocked back (garage) door bit... it was a good stay and I would definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: select high level rooms...view is nice and it's safer if there are unlocked doors in the buildin...

This is the perfect place to enjoy Burlington. Lake view rooms offer spectacular views and all essential comfort. The fitness center is pretty good for a standard workout and the pool area is okay for a morning swim. I highly recommend the breakfast in the hotel restaurant due to the tasty food, relaxing view and friendly service . Parking is convenient due to the attached parking garage or available valet service. Pedestrian area, good restaurants and harbor are just a few blocks away. I definitely would stay here again during my next visit.

Room Tip: Lakeview rooms are very nice, but be aware of potential noise in rooms with paper thin connecting do...
