Check in was fast. The rooms and bathrooms were very spacious. The shower was very nice and not your normal tub/shower combination. If you park with the hotel its a max $8 a day. The room we were lucky to have also offered terrific views. The hotel is ideally located as a few blocks from Church St as well as Lake Champlain. The hotel was also very clean and well kept. I plan to visit Burlington again before and this is the only place I would consider staying when I go!

Room Tip: Ask for high room with views of the lake its very beautiful!

This hotel has lovely, functional rooms with a superb view of Lake Champlain. Great lounge and bar area for family and friend gathering. This last trip we had a 'suite'. A great value for the room type. Small indoor pool.

Stay one night while visiting the area, had the most beautiful view of the lake, spacious room, and extremley clean. Loved the shower too, was extremely impressed with our stay. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful, also within walking distance of everything.

Room Tip: Lake view is worth the extra!

We stayed here for a night on our way to Montreal and just loved it. Clean rooms and great staff. Certainly will come back and stay here again. Though I did not have the view of the lake, rooms were great.

The cation of this hotel is excellent! Walking distance to great restaurants, shopping and entertainment. The hotel was very busy (as was the twin) during the holiday visit, which was somewhat unpleasant. There is also construction going on, which made navigating the sidewalks a little tricky.
Consistent with other reviews, the beds are not the most comfortable... And we were unlucky in getting a room right next to the ice machine which made things noisy.
I did not try the breakfast or pool, but did notice that it smelled a lot like chlorine!

We've stayed in Marriott properties all over the country and we are used to being pleasantly surprised, not disappointed. This hotel may be better on a non-holiday weekend, but I don't think the busy-ness of the place really has any impact.

Our room was the more expensive "King Suite" but it was really just a large room with a king bed and a sofa, plus a desk/bureau/wardrobe combination. The location of the TV was on the bureau on the side wall, so my husband had to lay on his side to watch, not something he likes to do. This was aggravated by the fact that the bed was one of the most uncomfortable hotel beds we've ever encountered. It had some give, but it was a lot like plywood over springs with a pillow mattress pad on top.

We always request suites because we don't like hearing noises from the corridor. The layout of the room we had in this hotel had the door then bathroom then headboard of the bed, then the "living area" was furthest from the door. Again, not our preference.

We didn't try the room service or use the pool (though we could smell chlorine all the way up to the 7th floor in the elevator).

The up side of the place is the location. A few blocks from the Church Street Market made for nice walking and window shopping. But we spent only 3 nights at this location and the uncomfortable bed made us homesick!

I will say that the staff was friendly and pleasant. We weren't prepared to have to walk past the open bar area to get to the elevators, though. That having to pass by that area really added to the feeling that the place was crowded.

Room Tip: The lake side does have beautiful views, but be sure to request a high floor. There's a busy str...
