Description: Juniper is Hotel Vermont's local, ingredient-driven cocktail bar. Created by Executive Chef Doug Paine, Juniper's menu is a celebration of individual and community effort, of small local producers growing and raising food, brewing beer, distilling spirits, and making wine. Check out the local live music scene and the custom cocktails made with Vermont spirits, as well as the outdoor terrace overlooking Lake Champlain with a cozy working fire pit.

5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 22, 2013

Not only is Hotel VT the nicest boutique hotel to stay at in town, it's restaurant and bar, Juniper is worth the visit alone. We had an amazing evening wining, dining and chilling out at this new spot in Burlington. The re-purposed wood accents and floorboards give this chic modern space a nice balance of Vermont rustic charm while not overdoing it. The copper bar is fantastic and the craft brew menu is top notch. The ambience is only outdone by the menu which also provides a nice balance of modern renditions while staying true to local roots. Vermonth clouthbound cheddar fritters were a great way to kick it off, and the Hops-smoked mussels were incredible. I'll be back to enjoy some cocktails on the patio and another evening of amazing food. Well done Juniper and Hotel VT!
