“A Trendy Fun Place to stay.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 23, 2014

This was the first trip to Vermont. We stayed 2 nights at the Hotel Burlington. Such a great place to stay. The rooms were so nicely decorated. The bed was so comfortable. The bathroom was unique. Shower and large sink with counter on one side of the room and toilet and small sink on the opposite side. Each floor had a coffee area which also provided filtered water and sparkling water. The amenities in the room provided a glass water bottle that could be filled at the water station down the hall. The comforter and sheets were of high thread count and very comfortable. The staff at the hotel were so knowledgeable of the area and helpful with ideas of places to see around the Burlington area.

Combined a short family vacation with college visit to UVM. Great place to stay overall!! Easy walk to the waterfront and Church Street. Would only recommend a mirror be placed outside of the bathroom and a clock that is quiet.

Hotel Vermont has done great job with its Modern/Green/Rustic Chic vibe. To pick some nits, We stayed in 2 rooms and there is a lack of room art, also the recliner needs a reading table, The reading lamps over the beds don't work if one of a couple wants to read and the other wants lights out. The beds are very comfortable, The showers are nice, rooms are otherwise well laid out, There are no great views from the street side rooms a little nicer higher up. The drink station in the elevator lobbies re in fact once and not just a gimmick the hotel restaurant serves a very nice breakfast. I'd really give the place a 4.5 but closer to a 5 than a 4.

I've been an airline pilot for 25 years. I stay in hotels all over the country many nights a year. We have stayed here twice in the past year. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Our room was immaculately clean. The bed is one of the most comfortable ever. The rooms are uniquely designed. The shower was nice providing great water pressure and volume. The staff is knowledgable of Burlington and very courteous. Each floor has an area providing filtered water and coffee. Better yet get a very good americano and fresh baked goods in the restaurant / bar. It may be a bit pricey but a better experience compared to many typical chain hotels. I'm sorry I don't have pictures to include.

The Hotel Vermont was a great find. We added Burlington, VT into our travel plans up to Stowe and Montreal just because we were interested in Burlington and this hotel in particular and it did not disappoint. The rooms were very comfortable, with a great soaking tub and large shower. My wife loved the modern decor (especially the use of wood in the room, halls and common area). But most of all, the people who work there were incredibly helpful and unfailingly nice. The recommendations we received (restaurants, what to see, where to go) were spot on. A special shout out has to go to Cassie, who was the Hotel's activites director and took us on a great kayak trip. All in all a very enjoyable stay. Highly recommended.

So thankful we stumbled upon this hotel! We had initially reserved at another close by hotel but it did not suit our needs at all so we walked up the street and into the lobby of Hotel Vermont. As soon as we walked through the door, we immediately loved this place! The desk manager was so friendly and helpful to us, and showed us a few room options to find a room that would accommodate our family. This hotel is stunningly beautiful and chic, clean, and the rooms are beyond comfortable. We had a great sleep, The room amenities are great, loved the handmade soap. Our request for extra towels and robes was immediately met. We enjoyed the coffee station out in the hallway, had a drink in the lobby bar, and sat outside around the fire pit in the evening. The workout room is small, but had all we needed. The waterfront is within walking distance, and we walked up the hill to shop in the pedestrian street. We didn't eat at the hotel because there are lots of options for dinner and breakfast just by walking up the hill.
We would absolutely come back to this hotel and wish we could have stayed for more than one night!

This hotel is unique, and strikes a wonderful balance between comfort, rustic and elegance. It uses natural elements throughout, but in a wonderful, sophisticated way that also manages to be open, airy and cozy at the same time. Comfortable beds, responsive staff. The hotel also sponsors events (Monday night trivia) that seem to be well attended by the locals, and give the entire setting a welcoming vibe. As a single woman traveling on business, this was one of the best places to stay that I have encountered in my frequent travels. Also - definitely try Juniper - the restaurant in the lobby. Great fries, great burgers.
