“Breakfast to dream about”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 15, 2014

I am a breakfast fan. I think it's the best meal of the day and Penny Cluse delivers. Really quality food with some interesting twists make for a tasty start to the day. I love the Zydeco Breakfast (eggs, andouille sausage, black beans and corn muffins) but there are so many other options (gingerbread pancakes, bucket of spuds, or tofu scrambles.) These are a bit on the adventurous side (if your looking for one of the chain 2- 2- 2 breakfasts you will be disappointed). Pricing is appropriate but if you like the less expensive chains you will feel this place is pricey. Organic, local, and tasty. Enjoy

“A fantastic breakfast”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 2, 2014 via mobile

Breakfast on way back to Boston area after touring UVM. Got to have the pancakes in order to enjoy the VT maple syrup. My daughter had a French toast special. The coffee was good and dark, staff friendly. We waited about 20 minutes on a Saturday morning. Good local color as well.

“Great Breakfast”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 31, 2014

I came here with my friend for brunch one sunday. it was packed so we waited for a table knowing it would be worth the wait. The server seemed a little discombobulated, but she kept the coffee flowing. my eggs and French toast were great. if you are looking for breakfast a little more upscale than your traditional diner than Penny Cluse is the place to be!

“Hate To Share This Place”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 30, 2014

Its almost always crowded with a wait for a table and that is for a good reason: This place has amazing food. It all starts with fantastic food and a commitment to local products. From there, you'll find a dash of the south in the biscuits and sausage and a little south of the border with their other options. You can't go wrong with the choices - share the special french toast or the bucket of spuds with the table.

It is a a great spot you'll want to go back to.

“Eclectic Breakfast”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 25, 2014 credit card Amex Card Member Review

Weekday morning for breakfast with family. Had to wait 10 minutes, but well worth it. First time here, although had heard/read many good comments. Unusual combinations of food and tates assembled with tradition breakfast food make for an unforgettable dining experience. Very tasty and large portions.
