“Good Value, Good Food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 5, 2012

My wife and I have eaten at Leunig's many times and almost always are happy with our meals. The place does have the feel of a European, i.e., Parisian, bistro. It can feel a bit crowded some evenings, but the restaurant feels like a fun place, with the emphasis on good food at reasonable prices. The prix fixe menu offers a good deal. The food is simple, straight forward bistro fare, well prepared, with portions large enough that one doesn't go away hungry. Desserts are excellent, too.

“Late Night Dinner A Real Deal Here”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 2, 2012

Went for dinner on Saturday night at 10:30 pm - they have a special "prix fixe" (fixed price) meal at certain times of the day/evening including from 10:00 - 11:00 pm. For $15 you get an appetizer and entree - the portions are perfect for this time of the night. The service was excellent and the server understood my food allergies and exceeded my expectations, creating a meal that was safe for me to eat and delicious. A very reasonable and very good meal on the prix fixe menu.

“Friendly atmosphere and good food.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 29, 2012

We had a reservation for diner and were served immediately. The staff is nice and friendly. There were many customers but we did not feel crowded. The food was quite good and the wine very good. I enjoyed it very much. We were a party of five and chatting a lot. After a while, we came to realize that it was closing timeand that we were the only ones left. The staff was for us without urging us in any way to leave. Nice place to eat.

“European style”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 26, 2012

The overall decor has a European feel with close tables, but it didn't feel crowded. We made it into the restaurant early enough to take advantage of the $15 bistro menu. The portions were as large as the main menu's counterparts, plus a salad or soup. Everything was cooked to perfection and taste.... the Poutine appetizer was heavenly.
