The Fleming Art Museum on the University of Vermont's campus is one of my families favorite museums. The building is welcoming and very handsome. The collection is laid out in a straight-forward, comprehensible manner with beautiful old master European paintings as well as American paintings. There are works from all over the world. There are in-depth labels since it's a university, teaching museum. It's quiet to the point of being serene and only costs $5.00.
