This is a great place to go to try some truly exceptional VT beers and have a very good (albeit pricey) burger with some interesting toppings (such as pickled jalapenos). The wait for a table can get pretty crazy around normal dinner time, especially on weekends, so plan to get there a little early or late.

Our family has been to the Farmhouse many times and have enjoyed every time. Whether we are sitting at the bar or a table in the dining room it is a great experience. Local food and more beer options than you can imagine. If you are in Burlington definately go.

Good concept. Local food. But it's not great, it's over priced. The place is way too noisy. What it has going for it is the beer, the beer garden out back in the summer and the bar in the basement which is cozy. I do love the sister restaurant, El Cortijo, that does really high quality Mexican food (for Vermont, which is notorious for really crappy Mexican food). Otherwise, I find the restaurants owned by this group to be overrated (Strong's deli is also pretty cool), but the steakhouse reminds me of an airport restaurant (in a bad way).

The localvore food is expensive but well-prepared and tasty; the beers are interesting, and the servers are knowledgeable. Fun place to go with a few friends; close to Church Street Marketplace, Roxy Cinema.
