“Not Just for Beer Enthusiasts!!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 22, 2013

My wife and I decided to do the Brew Tour during a recent stay in Burlington, VT. I saw one of their brochures in the hotel lobby and figured it would be a great way to experience the local beer scene. I'm so glad we decided to do the tour because we had an awesome time. Our tour guide, Matt, was a real cool guy in addition to knowing just about everything there is to know about beer. He even had a hand in designing one of the stop's t-shirts (ask him about, "Day Drinker"). We were very fortunate to have a friendly group of people with us; so we not only learned a great deal about the local Burlington, VT breweries (and sampled some very good beer), but we also had great conversations with the other people in our group. You can tour the same breweries, on your own, at little to no expense; however, the tour was well worth the price. Transportation, lunch (which was very good) and a variety of beer samples are all included. I will do the tour again on a future visit to Burlington (or the other cities where they offer tours).

“Great Fun! Van Needs Better AC”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 21, 2013

Our group of 4 used Living Social vouchers on this fun tour. This was our first ever brew tour of any kind. We visited Magic Hat, Fiddleheads, One Pepper Grill and 3 Needs on the Thirsty Thursday Evening Brew Tour. Our guide was easy going, very personable, knowledgeable and fun. We were picked up promptly at our pick up point. Minor changes to scheduling were communicated promptly. The only issue with this particular day was that the outside air temperature was in the 90's. It was one of Vermont's extremely hot, hazy and humid days. Stepping into the van was like getting into a rolling oven. AC was on full bore but the only person getting any benefit from it was the driver. With the exception of our last stop, 3 Needs, none of our stops were air conditioned. It is something to consider if you have any health related conditions that could be affected by the extreme heat. Other than the AC issue our group would highly recommend this tour as a fun thing to do in the Burlington area. We are considering the VIP tour which takes its tourists to Waterbury and Stowe.

Surprised my husband with a tour for our wedding anniversary. We both loved it. Loved not having to deal with traffic, Matt, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable, nice to get to know local beers. We are already planning on doing another tour with friends.

“Best way to enjoy local breweries!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 17, 2013

Our tour guide Matt has set the bar for what a brewery cruise should be. My wife and I have done a few brewery cruises/tours with other companies in the US, but Matt was the most informative and really made this tour a "can't miss" for burlington locals and visitors. The brewery tours included lots of "behind the scene" and local information that really showed this company's passion to promote good local beer and beer practices. We are going on another bruise cruise in Asheville, NC in August and only hope it's half a fun as this one was. Thanks Matt!

“Best Brew Tours!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 8, 2013

Our Burlington Brew Tour was everything we hoped it would be! We visited Vermont Pub and Brewery, American Flatbread/Zero Gravity, Switchback, and Magic Hat. Our tour guide, Matt, had a plethora of information about all the breweries and beers that they offer and he was very fun to chat with as well. We live in the Burlington area and even though we have visited some places before, we were blown away by the amount of new information, perspectives, and behind the scenes looks that we received. We are already planning on doing another tour! Overall it was an excellent experience and we would highly recommend it.
