We arrived in Bristol around mid afternoon and had a wander around the shops and the local produce market on the green and I must admit we were a bit surprised how quiet this small town was for this time of day. At around 4:30 we decided to have a drink and bite to eat at the Bobcat and then realised why the town was so quiet as everyone appeared to be here!
The beer menu is really interesting with helpful notes on which country the hops are grown and good descriptions of the flavour of the beer.
The food is good for this type of establishment and prices reasonable.
Service is friendly and courteous with a touch of good humour which makes for a fun experience.
We also purchased some tee-shirts and hoodies which are really good quality and tasteful, Vermont doesn't appear to do the normal tourist rubbish so abundant everywhere else.
