Cubbers seems like a simple pizza and sandwich shop, but don't pass up their daily specials. Their corn chowder and quiche of the day were delicious, maybe the best I've ever had! Staff is very friendly and helpful. Very casual!

We visited with a friend from Bristol at Cubber's last night and found the place to be warm, inviting and satisfying. It is a pizza and beer place with a lot of other meals, subs and specials on the menu and you will not go out hungry. We tried the personal size pepperoni pizza, a pulled pork quesadilla and the eggplant parm. All were delicious and satisfying. The place was busy all the itme we were there and has a great community gathering place feel. Large storefront windows on the street let in lots of light and provide great viewing of the downtown Bristol scene. The eggplant was great, with high stack of breaded eggplant cooked well. The quesadilla had lots of tender pulled pork and was served with a side salad. The pepperoni came on two six inch rounds of pizza well cooked and with plenty of sauce. It is your better than average downtown pizza place with delicious inexpensive food.

We had lunch here on a perfect Saturday. We had the top down and cruised through the rural and small town scenery to and from Bristol. The food was excellent! My wife had the spicy bean burrito, nicely spiced and seasoned, and I had a delicious sausage parm sandwhich. They serve a nice selection of beers, which was welcomed. Make this place a must stop on your summer in Vermont stops!

Do you like pizza & beer? Then Cubber's is a fun spot to go for this. Features several kinds of beer, including some local favorites. Lots of other stuff on the menu too, and just a nice all around fun atmosphere. I even liked my beer glass and they let me take it home for a few bucks!
