Description: Located on the banks of the Ottauquechee River, our brewery and brew pub offers a seasonally rotating menu featuring locally-sourced ingredients and beer fresh from the source. On tap we have more than a dozen beers including our year-round staples, seasonal selections and limited releases. Look for super-limited, small batch brews from our Farmhouse Ales series brewed in our farmhouse-turned-pilot-brewing facility and exclusively available in our pub & restaurant. When the weather warms up, grab a seat at our riverside deck or dip your toes in the water and go with the flow.

We stay close to Bridgewater Corners when we are in Vermont, but not close enough to explain why, on our most recent trip,.we found ourselves there just about every day around lunchtime.
The beers are certainly worth a fairly major detour, especially the ones exclusive to the brewery, but we think it was the combination of the beer, the great service, the good and reasonably priced food and the terrace with the view over the river that kept drawing us back.
Now and again you find a place that just fits together well and which delivers exactly what it says on the tin. We think the Long Trail brewery is one of those places and we highly recommend it.

Stopped in for lunch on the way to camping weekend. The self-guided brewery tour was fun . . . not hugely informative but fun to watch the bottling and box machines and smell the hops before heading back downstairs for a beer and lunch. Hubbie had the very reasonable priced beer flight and wings assortment. He was very happy with both his food and of course his beer! Beautiful window boxes and flowers completely the relaxing, mountainy atmosphere. Kids had fun walking down to the river front and making cairns on the rocks. We'd definitely stop by here again if in the area.

When you first walk in to the large room you feel like you're going to have a great time and that feeling held true. Our group had one of the picnic table type tables since we had quite a few people. We ordered the samplers which was nice to try several different beers they had on draft. The beers were great as expected from previous purchases of bottles and pints at other places but it tasted even better coming from the source. We didn't order any food but everything we saw on the menu and coming out looked very good. The atmosphere of place makes this a great experience as it feels like a get together of a lot of people looking for a casual good time and great beer. I would definitely enjoy coming back for more great beer and great times.

I live in Vermont, but 2 hours from the Brewery. My wife and I make it a point to go there several times a year. We do a little antiquing in the area, stop by Simon Pearce glass, and then have lunch and great beers at the brewery. These guys are PASSIONATE about beer and it shows. The food is very good pub fare. The deck out back, just feet from the Ottaquechee River, is the place to be in the warmer months. Love these guys!
