Description: Whetstone Station Restaurant and Brewery combines a large casual restaurant and open air rooftop bier garten, with a small experimental nano-brewery, all located right on the Connecticut River in Vermont. We offer an "inspired pub fare" style menu, with everything from small bites for a few bucks to full entrees. Along with one, always changing unique craft beer of their own they offer dozens of guest craft beers on draft and specialty drinks, all in an amazing waterfront location. The unique round building has been restored into a beautiful fire-lit space with a contemporary and industrial vibe. Indoor and outdoor dining, perched above the river, alongside a steel bridge and nestled between the green mountains make the amazing location a "don't miss" on any visit through Vermont.

This is the 3rd time we've been to Whetstone. Sometimes the draft beer selection is really good, but this time it was just okay. I opted for wine instead. We had the chicken sandwich on pretzel bread and a burger. Both were very good. The chicken sandwich was big enough that I took part of it home for a snack. The view of the river is nice and the outdoor deck should be opening once it gets a bit warmer. Good menu selection with something for everyone.

Whenever we are in driving distance of Whetstone Station, we never miss a chance to stop in for lunch. Amazing beer selection and terrific food. If you like sauces (mayos, mustards, bbq, etc) be sure to get their sauce sampler. 8 of their homemade sauces, hard to decide which is best, they are all super yummy. Fun atmosphere! If you're looking for a good lunch spot, look no further, you won't be disappointed! Highly recommend. Enjoy!!

We visited Whetstone on our way through Bratt and overall we were happy with our experience. We went for lunch and it wasn't crowded but I can imagine it gets so for dinner and on weekends. It took a few minutes before we were acknowledged and seated and then it took another 10 minutes before a server came over. It wasn't that busy so I'm not sure what the hold up was. After that everything was fine. They only have 2-3 of their own beers but what they had was tasty. The cheddar soup to start was good but a little heavy on the cheese. The turkey wrap and burgers were very tasty and overall we enjoyed our meal! We happened to be there on charity pint night and got a donation chip for each pint we ordered. We LOVED this feature to support charities in the community! We would visit again.

Belated review, but happy to remember a GREAT lunch experience at one of the BEST traditional brew pubs ANYWHERE! My buddies and I enjoyed Brewer's Burgers with those AMAZING fries! A few beers to accompany this lunchtime fare and we were totally satisfied. The staff are so friendly and helpful. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND this restaurant and bar to beer lovers everywhere. FANTASTIC VIEWS and so close to everything downtown Brattleboro + easy parking too. Can't wait to return again soon. --- Newest Members of the Whetstone Station Restaurant and Brewery Fan Club!

Delicious food; traditional yet with a twist. I love the amount of Vermont-made ingredients. There are so many yummy sounding dished on the menu that I can't wait to go back and try them all. The Vermont cheddar ale soup was awesome.

My only complaint would be the sound level. It was very difficult to hear the dinner conversation. I want to go in the warmer weather to try the outdoor seating. Definitely make reservations- -we arrived at 5:30 thinking we were early enough to beat the crowd, but we still had to wait 15-20 minutes for a table.
