“Great sandwiches, but no seating and limited parking”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 22, 2012

The deli has really tasty sandwiches and a varied menu, but is only carry out. It is easy to get to off of I-91. Parking seemed limited and right on busy Rt. 9. Many Vermont made items for sale; we bought cheese, bread and maple syrup as gifts for friends. Service was prompt.

“Awesome Attention To Detail”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 2, 2012

I went there for the first time on a suggestion from a friend of mine and what a great suggestion. The place is quaint, clean and teaming with quality. I had the mac and cheese and a coffee and both were delicious. I wanted to try everything they had it all looked so good. I would highly recommend you seek the Vermont Country Deli out even if you are not driving by, it will be well worth the trip.

love this spot try to stop when driving past brattleboro, vt. a little pricey love the displays and for the most part the food always has great flavor. will stop again. the big negative is that parking is limited - if i can't get a spot i just keep driving.

“Great Sandwich, great food, many wonderful food choices”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 23, 2011

A friend suggested his for lunch one day on a road trip through Brattleboro.
I returned this week because i knew I was going to get a great sandwich for lunch. Although the parking is limited, once you get inside you will be very happy you stopped. The many wonderful food choices you see inside will make you very hungry if you were not hungry before you entered. I like to just go straight to the sandwich board, that clearly tells you how to order, fresh baked bread, , wraps, condiment, cheese, meat or vegetable choices, toppings of your choice! The Jackie wrapped my creation in waxed deli paper and it was ready to go and enjoy! There are so many food choices you could get caught up in just looking for quite some time. From fresh Mac and Cheese to Sesame chicken you are sure to find something to make your lunch, bring home dinner or road trip more enjoyable.
Did I tell you about the desserts, WOW some time soon I will get a pie!
Great Sandwich, great food, with many wonderful food choices!

“Super Sandwich Stop”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 28, 2011

Looking for a good lunch? This is the place! At the Vermont Country Deli, you can order your sandwich any way you like it. They have a variety of breads, meats, cheeses and toppings to personalize your sandwich. (They're speedy, too!) If it's nice, take your sandwiches and enjoy them at the Living Memorial Park and Creamery Covered Bridge, just down the street.
