We recently spent three nights at the Brandon Motor Lodge. While we were out and about quite a bit, the pool, assorted lawn games and the owners' two-year-old son were more than enough to keep our ten-year-old daughter content. The rooms are tidy with a decent offering of satellite t.v. channels. The offering of homemade muffins, coffee and juice on weekend mornings was also very nice.

The location is good - right outside of Brandon, close to Middlebury and Rutland.

All in all, one of the best hotel values we have enjoyed for quite some time.

If your travels bring you to this area this hotel would be a great option for you. The owners work hard to make your experience and stay fantastic. Rooms are clean and well kept. There is a pool and hot tub. The owners prepare fresh, home baked muffins for their free breakfast which also includes orange juice, oatmeal and great coffee.

My daughter and I stayed at the Brandon Motor Lodge based upon the favorable reviews here on Tripadvisor. New owners (a young couple) took over in May 2008, and they retain all the good cheer and helpfulness that people have complemented previously. The Brandon is an old-style motel with single rooms facing a common gravel driveway and a long spacious lawn running down to the main road. Unlike most older motels, the Brandon is very clean and well-kept. The bathroom is rather small as expected, but the rooms have satellite TV, a fridge, and a microwave. The breakfast coffee and muffins were just okay, but for $99 per night we were very comfortable and pleased with our stay. I would definitely stay there again. I'm attaching a few pics of the Brandon that I snapped.

For the price - you cannot find better! Very clean, very quiet.
We stayed in one of the larger rooms which was quite spacious and had a simple, modest, but bright and cherry decor. The pool was clean and inviting and the continental breakfast, with their homemade muffins, was perfect. We'll definitly stay here again!

This is a nice little motel. The staff are friendly and very helpful, the accomdations are clean, the pool (outdoor) has a beautiful view of the Green Mountains, and the hottub is HOT, not just warm, as is so often the case these days it seems. I was more than satisfied with my short stay (only there one night, as I was on a quick trip to the Brandon area on family business), and I would certainly stay here again.

This is a little gem of a motel, just south of the lovely town of Brandon, Vermont. Moderately priced, it is a great place to stay. The rooms are ample and very clean. They have an outdoor pool, indoor hot tub, and had muffins, coffee and juice in the morning. Pleasant surroundings, manicured lawns. Chairs outside each door, picnic tables and chairs scattered around the property to enjoy. A path leads up to the woods for a walk, or you can play horseshoes or volleyball. We have stayed twice and have been very happy with this motor inn. The owners are very nice, and take good care of the premises.
