“Tough to Beat Bolton!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 26, 2012

Bolton Valley is a severely underated ski are in VT. It has gone through many changes over the years but I feel it is one of the best values for skiing in VT going. There is terrain for every level and type of skiing so it makes a perfect family mountain. Bolton has some of the to snowcat opertaors in the state - they know how to manage the snow so you get the best the mountain has to offer and the woods skiing is awesome! I have not stayed at the lodge but have heard it described as adequate. There are several places to get food on the mountain, for a ski area the pricing is very reasonable. From a simple burger and fries to a full sit down and waited meal you won't be dissappointed. If you are all about vertical and cushy base lodge accommodations this not your mountain - if you want a great ski day for your $ check it out.

“A local favorite”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 25, 2012

This is one of the best deals around. Bolton has night skiing and is one of the most affordable places around. The skiing is good for beginner to moderate skiier, even for our children who like a little challenge. If you're staying at the Resort, it's nice, but needs a serious renovation!!!!

“great value for families”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 3, 2012

Bolton Valley is smaller then Stowe , but you get so much more value. the mountain is not as busy. ski group lessons for kids are very reasonable, compared to other mountains. the lodge at the base is comfy, with great beers on tap and comfort grub. soups are good. renting equipment at the mountain is easy and fast.......if anything goes wrong they can easily switch gear.

“Bolton Valley is a great little resort”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 18, 2012

Skiing at Bolton Valley is really wonderful. A very family oriented resort with no lift lines. Been skiing there for many years and it is a gem. Check it out there's snow!
