We had such a good breakfast here on vacation we went back over and over. The omelette were outstanding. The service was fast and so friendly. We felt like we were locals. Can't beat that! Go and go again.

We went by the blue benn based on reviews but it was packed, so we tried papa Pete's and we are glad we did, no wait, very welcoming employees, extensive breakfast menu with great specials, could be considered a little pricey for breakfast foods but you pay for quality, we spent $26 for both of us, we will deff return again when in the area.

We went out to breakfast. Great choices, the food came quickly, was generous, piping hot and fresh, and was delicious. Wait staff were friendly and helpful. I would like to go again. Seating was comfortable and the place was clean. A little bit expensive for breakfast, I thought. But the food was so good, who cares?

We stopped in for a bite to eat while we were on the road. What we found was a warm atmosphere full of good humor. They even gave us a homemade treat for our fog who waited for us in the car. She loved it!!

We stopped here on our way West to NY and stopped at the Chelsea Royal Diner on our way back East, both on the same route for most travelers doing this trip. Please see the other review we just posted entitled "Let's start with the coffee..." describing our experience at the Royal Diner.

We love diner food and little cafes that typically offer decent meals, at decent prices with decent service. We seek these out on a regular basis in our travels. This was the reason we stopped here - based upon the impression we got as we drove by from the road - saw it, pulled a u-turn and entered their parking lot.

Very simply, we believe that this place appeared to have an over-inflated sense of self worth. I wish I saved the menu price details for this review. But know that, very simply, the prices were too high. Basic diner offerings were priced meaningfully higher than most other diners we visit in our best recollection.

Any objective observer, who understands the value of money (and can prove it by the way they manage their own money in all matters) - will conclude quickly that this place is better avoided and that one should move onto another where a customer gets his money's worth. See for yourself - check their menu out and decide.

We do not quite understand the glorious and glowing reviews. We are global travelers and have visited countless restaurants in countless locations over the years. We believe that we are careful and discriminating in our judgments. Our friends and relatives respect and tend to follow our opinions.

Yes, the setting, service and food was acceptable in quality, just not worth the price and not enough to justify a return trip.

We define "value" as "the best possible quality at the best possible price" - something we seek in every purchase we make - because it just makes sense. The lack of value is what resulted in our overall rating of "2".

However, this is just our opinion - no better than anyone else. We could be completely incorrect. Do your homework, visit the place and form your own opinion.
