“Worth a stop”

Nice items and high quality but on the pricey side. Great place if you a setting up your Vermont vacation home. Walk around back they have the factory where it's all made pretty interesting. Worth a stop if you visit Bennington

“No one was making pottery!”

A nice store, but no one was making pottery! We were disappointed that couldn't see how it was made.

“A little piece of history and good shopping”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 29, 2012

This is one of a few potteries in the country that went from being thrown ware to manufactured. They will show you presses and how they produce the work one piece at a time. There is also a nice shop with all the lines as well as other home furnishings. Its a very different stop than many tourist locations. Worth a visit if you have any curiosity at all about manufacturing or ceramics. I did not see it here (I was in a bit of a hurry as it was SALE night, but if you go to the Bennington Musuem you will see a nice display of the early work.

Enjoyed our visit. Particularly liked the many colors of the pottery. Not a whole lot more to say about the place.
