There's not much that shouts here - ordinary food, ordinary atmosphere, ordinary service. There must be 10,000 of places like this around the country, none of which would you write home about. Scallops were OK - actual scallops and not whitefish cutouts - but without character. In a blind taste-test, you could probably mistake the rice pilaf for the potatoes. Or maybe the other way around. The (loud radio station) background music challenged conversation, but at least kept us awake.
