This is a great hotel for a one-night stay, as it is close to restaurants, right off a main road and has all kinds of terrific amenities. While the "water park" was closed during my stay, everything else was great. it is a very clean property with a very friendly staff.More

Stayed one night while passing through. Staff were very friendly, was even asked if we were going to use the Waterpark. I didn't know they had but I decline as I only needed a room. Room was stale upon entering the room, clearly a smoker had previous been in the room but didn't rally notice until hours later. The next day I was stuffy and eyes were irradiated. I did bring this to the front desk as I checked out. I was apologize too for that. People should be harshly fined if they smoke in a room, it needs to be cleaned from top to bottom, that's why I choose Holiday Inn. If housekeeping smokes, they will never spot it like a non-smoker will. Breakfast was good and plenty as always.

First, I don't think I'd call this a waterpark. For anyone over the age of 6 or so, there is one slide. To me, that's not much of a waterpark. We did use it, but after going on it twice, that was about it. Didn't see the need for special wristbands to use it or the pool area. Maybe during the winter they are much busier, but not when we were there.
The rooms were typical Holiday Inn. Service was definitely not typical. We had booked a room with 2 queen beds as there were 4 of us. Checked in after 5pm. Got to the room and there was 1 king bed and a sofa. Went back to the desk and they said they upgraded us. That's fine, but where are 4 people going to sleep? So they switched us to the room that we originally booked. Went back up to that room and the room was dirty. Left everything in the room with the king and went to dinner while they sorted it out. Eventually, we ended up with both rooms, with the kids on a different floor than us. Thank goodness they're a little older, responsible and used to being on the road.
The morning breakfast wasn't as good as the others we've had, so we just grabbed a little and got on the road.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Arrived very late at night. Staff was still courteous and helpful. Knowledgeable of the area for food and things to do. Lobby and halls were clean. Room was fairly priced and clean. Wall mounted climate control for rooms was nice. Beds and pillows were in great shape. Bathroom was extremely clean and the water ran well which I've noticed is an issue in other hotels.
Wouldn't mind staying here again.

We only stayed for one night, but during that time they did not have the waterslide on at all. I understand that the workers need breaks...but those 15 minute breaks quickly turn to 30 minutes. They also did not even have the water features on the little kid side turned on. The morning breakfast was the same way, we showed up at 9:30 (closes at 10) and the person working the breakfast was already not putting out any new food. I went to grab a milk at 9:55 and he had already locked it. Very disappointed!

48" minimum height requirement for the water slide which my (9yr) daughter never got sick of :) and my (4yr) son was perfectly content with the plash pad style slides. The Mickey ear hot tub was just right! Pretty busy on a Saturday night but plenty of chairs poolside for non-swimming parents to chill. Had pizza delivered to the 2 bed suite with sofa bed and coffee table. Lots of room :) We all slept great and enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. Kids had pancakes and cinnamon rolls and cereal (you know how exciting choose what you want can be) and I enjoyed sausage biscuits and gravy. My favorite part was working out with view of the water slide below! I had the exercise room to myself and my husband hung out with our little guy while the girls swam again. We had a great weekend mini vaca! No complaints :)
