Bob runs the Buffalo Trails Trading Company and offers a great tasting buffalo burger. You need to look past the eclectic mix of furniture, furnishing, antiques and curios and appreciate that he has great buffalo burgers and very good jerky.
The place has that western frontier charm - wooden floorboards and a thin layer of dust. But don't let that prejudice your taste buds. The buffalo burgers are excellent. We declined the standard fries and opted for freshly made coleslaw which was delicious. You'll have time between placing your order and its arrival to take a wander through the trading post checking out the range of merchandise.
We had spent five weeks in the USA and this was our first opportunity to taste genuine buffalo burger. We weren't disappointed. I'd like to rate the restaurant higher, but I honestly can't. This is not a fine dining experience, but the buffalo burger makes it worthwhile.
