The staff is very varied- some very helpful- others came across as having an attitude durning the check in process/evening hrs. Morning staff very helpful.
Our family of four had a nice room, no view but a sign. though bed was not the most comfortable. Since we were site seeing - we did not spend too much time in the room. Appears to be the Newest OPEN hotel in town. Premium priced $140-160(rodeo time)-- but we used points. Western part of town- Most resurants close early unless it is Fast food

The Pool area/deck is very very slippery- as my daughter fell while walking. Hot Tub was not working. We were the only ones using the pool - made noise but had no issue about being TOO Loud.

NOT A HOTEL FOR FAMILIES!!!
This is a quiet zone hotel from 7pm until 9am. We did not realize this until just after 7 we received a noise complaint from the front desk. We were getting ready go to to the pool, you know that kind of noise. Then upon check out the next day the remark was made that we were rowdy last night. We were going to the pool - not having a party!!! "UNBELIEVABLE.!"

When I found the quiet zone sign - it actually states "No singing in the shower"
Not a hotel for families!!!

Vernal is great and the UTAH FIELD HOUSE OF NATURAL HISTORY IS A MUST SEE!!!
2 new hotels are being built in Vernal - next time will give them a try.

We were welcomed, the check in was fast and personable. It's a new hotel and it is very nice. Enjoyed the shower and nice, thick towels. The breakfast area was almost like a sit down restaurant and the manager constantly worked the work even pouring coffee. While it was a bit pricey, we would stay there again.

Spent a few nights in the Express as my base for exploring Dinosaur Nat Monument and Flaming Gorge. This property is relatively new, and is far more upscale than any other Express I have stayed in. Check in was fast & the fresh baked cookies were in the lobby. The common areas and the room was very well decorated, definitely a more "modern", or dare I say "hip", style. Room was pretty large, with high ceilings and a very large shower (no tub) & new style bedding. All the amenities were in the room (coffee, tea , some complimentary water), the the breakfast room also had some addtional coffee/tea selections. Pool & hot-tub were easily accessible and clean. The breakfast spread was quite extensive, in a large, comfortable room.

My only complaint is my room was next door to the prep area/kitchen for the breakfast - as such, noises started around 4am. Cured by a pillow over the head.

All that being said, it was a very nice property; however, going upscale comes at a price of $144/night - which seems a little steep for the area.

Nice, new hotel. Everything is perfect. It has comfortable rooms, it is quiet. Nice free breakfast. I paid $0 for stay with my Rewards points. However, my friends paid over $230 for the overnight stay. It is a nice hotel, but it is not Crowne Plaza.
When you plan your tripas a turist, avoid Vernal. Other hotels seams to be not so good choice.

The hotel is fairly new and probably the best choice in Vernal. Interior is very nice and clean. Only problem is the location right next to the highway - rooms facing the highway are quite noisy.

When I initially checked on the price of this hotel, it was too high for us. I made arrangements for another hotel. Luckily, the price dropped to where we could afford it, and are we glad we did!

We had spent two previous nights in a hotel that wasn't up to snuff, so when we walked into this place - it was heaven. The beds are of the upmost comfortable - the bathroom I wanted to permanently move in. It was absolutely beautiful! Large granite countertops, tiled shower and floors all around - you won't want to leave. Fluffy towels, great pillows - this is the place to stay. We arrived on a Sunday, to find out the town really does close up early and on Sundays. You'll find a lot of places to eat closed. We ate at Wingers and we really enjoyed their Sticky fingers and atmosphere. Service was uneven - we noticed either people waited forever, or were asked for drink orders before they sat down - but we were fine.

The pool is a bit too cold, the hot tub is too hot, but its nicely laid out. Breakfast was exceptional - they have a very nice layout, cloth napkins, real mugs - you'll feel like your dining out. Excellent coffee.

I agree this place is on the higher end price wise - but if you can stay here, you won't be disappointed.
