Description: Nestled in downtown Vernal, Utah within the heart of Uintah County is a craft beer brewery and gastropub that is an icon of the area. In addition to brewing and canning quality craft beers to be sold in-house and distributed across Uintah County and the Salt Lake Valley, we host a restaurant/gastropub with dining options ranging from comfort food and appetizers to local favorites. Exceptional food, craft beer and a place to enjoy it with friends and family is something that owner, Ginger Bowden, has always gravitated towards. This love fueled Ginger's passion and desire to create a unique experience for the Uintah Basin. Welcome to the Vernal Brewing Company. We're happy to serve you and strive to give you a great dining experience!

On entering Vernal (on our way to Yellowstone) we didn't really expect a place like this. The interior looked very European, contemporary, and we had very nice salads there (not very American!)!

We had a great experience here. Unlike other reviews we were given a table immediately and had great service (the place was full on a Friday evening). All the dishes we ordered were excellent (pork roast, meat platter and pizza). I can agree that it's probably a bit over priced for Vernal but am happy that a small place like Vernal can create this experience with locally sourced food! Bravo VBC!

We had spent a hot afternoon in the Flaming Gorge area, and were ready for a beer. As so many places are "dry",we picked this bar from the list provided by our hotel, as we could be certain that they served beer.

What a happy chance! It is a quiet corner, with an attractive outside terrace, with sun or shade, fronting a garden. Interior and exterior very modern. There was an excellent choice of beers, which arrived at just the right temperature.

We had a sharing plate of local cheeses and meats, which was plentiful, and served with interesting garnishes. There was a choice of which cheeses and meats, too. It arrived quite promptly, and was delicious.

We did note that the service, while pleasant, seemed haphazard, and the supervisor seemed grumpy and was letting it show. This was the only flaw in an otherwise super visit.

Restaurant design is nice. Beer is good quality micro brew but not a 'wow'. The food, on the other hand, was very disappointing & way! Over priced. And the time from ordering to table delivery... Ours was 45 min. That was 1pizza and 5 reg. dinners.
The stakes we perfectly cooked & the sauce was great. The potatoes were not etable.
Their version of fish & chips was just weird. A chunk of salmon, pan cooked, over fries. On the rim of the oversized plate was smeared 2 sauces to wipe the fish in. Both were tasty but you end up with a lot of it on your hands. And there's not enough for the quality of food.
We'd go back for beer, but not the food. Meals and beer for 4 will run $120.

The Vernal Brewing Company was a great place to eat to catch up with friends in Vernal. The menu was recently updated and had local and seasonal food. The house salad and tomato pizza were absolutely amazing! Friendly service and modern atmosphere.
