Do not take the info about this hike lightly. We went out about 11 am with a lot of cloud cover after a good rain storm. We came back with clear sky and it was hot. Be prepared. We found it an interesting hike, but be prepared.

If you like Moab, this is similar to Moab with water. We hiked to the dinosaur tracks and then took a swim in the gorge. I highly recommend this.

This place is a gem--the water is warm, there are few boats, they have kayak and paddle board rentals, and they have dinosaur tracks! Can't beat that! We had a wonderful time.

Swimming, fishing, fossilized dinosaur tracks, hiking, camping, biking... they list goes on and on.

It's a beautiful park that's set in the majestic red hills north of Vernal. During the summer the contrasting green grass and red hills make for a spectacular view.

A great hike exists back to actual dinosaur footprints in rocks. I love that you can visit something like this outside of a museum.

I dare you to not have a good time if you visit this place.
