“An Excellent Choice in Tropic”
Reviewed May 14, 2014

We stayed at the Bryce Canyon Inn for two nights recently. The cabins are just off the main road, and about 15 minutes from Bryce Canyon. We were delighted with our cabin. It was very comfortable - obviously quite new - with great beds, shower, small fridge etc. A continental breakfast was provided, and we found it to be a cut above many others. And I loved the fact that I could get a delicious latte from the coffee shop.

Room Tip: Pick a cabin near the back to avoid road noise.

First of all it's only 10 miles from the entrance of Bryce Canyon. It is quiet and welcoming and very clean. The cabins are cute and well equipped with toiletries and a very efficient heater. The beds were cozy and the management team was very accommodating. They offered a continental breakfast and an espresso bar. Very good for the price of only $99 a night. We would definitely stay here again. Free wifi and cable tv as well.

These cabins are pretty newly built. They are very roomy, clean, and extremely cute. They have everything that you need.....mini coffee maker, mini refrigerator, comfy beds, hot shower. The location is very close to Bryce Canyon, but far enough away from the tourist traffic up at Bryce. The girl who checked us in at the front desk was extremely nice and helpful, also. Highly recommend this place.

A friend heard we were going to visit Bryce Canyon and she said, "You have to stay at Bryce Canyon Inn, it is fantastic." "They will put you up in a great cabin and take you on a horse or mule ride and you can even eat dinner at their pizza restaurant!" Well, we took our friends advice and we are really glad we did. The detached cabin (#30) was immaculate, had a SUPER COMFORTABLE King Size Bed and was really quiet. We didn't hear a peep from anyone for the two nights we stayed there. The owners and staff are very friendly and professional and make you feel at home. They are also very polite. As an example, I was unaware that the breakfast didn't begin until 7:30 AM but i saw lights on in the lobby at 6:05 AM so i went in thinking it was open for business. McClain Mecham, one of the owners, was in there getting ready to go out on an excursion with a small group and he very politely let me get my coffee and made pleasant conversation with me and was so didn't even mention that breakfast didn't start for another 90 minutes!!! I was pretty embarrassed when i found out the REAL breakfast start time from my wife later on. The location in Tropic UT is convenient also. It took us about 12 minutes to get from our cabin door through the entrance to Bryce Canyon. You can actually see the small town of Tropic, UT from certain vistas within Bryce Canyon! Their pizza restaurant next door serves good (not fancy), fresh food and we ate there twice. Servers there were equally friendly. I highly recommend Bryce Canyon Inn and recommend you take a horse or mule ride with McClain or Hunter (their son). We had a blast riding through the Slot Canyons with Hunter and his dog Pete!
GREAT EXPERIENCE WE WILL REMEMBER FOREVER!

Room Tip: We had Cabin #30 and loved it! It was at the far end of the property and had no other cabins on one...

What a delightful place to stay.
The cabins are lovely and cosy and well maintained.
There is a superb coffee shop "Bryce Canyon Coffee Co" in the Motel office which do a great selection of European coffees using an original Italian coffee machine.

It was fantastic as the lady at the front desk upgraded us because we were on our honeymoon. The cute little log cabin was perfect for what we needed. Great privacy and close to Bryce. Staff were very helpful and polite. Definitely stay here!
