Very clean, spacious, comfortable cabin accommodations, that we were certain were brand new, but were told they are 15 years old! Remarkable care has been given them; they even smell new. Staff friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast not standard B&B, but varied, generous, and more than adequate. Staff friendly and helpful with dinner suggestions. A happy stay we would be glad to repeat.

The cabin was clean, the staff were helpful. The continental breakfast had a limited selection of cereals and bread items. No hot foods. Does have a small coffee shop in lobby where breakfast is served, so maybe a bigger selection of coffee/tea and food items there. The pizza place next door was good, the hours were wrong in the info in room. It was supposed to open at 11:30 but didn't open till 1 or 1:30, so we had to go elsewhere for lunch, but did it dinner there. Very close to Bryce Canyon, so easy to go to park and if get tired go back to hotel, then back to park.

Individual cabin rooms are very comfortable and unique. For $100 a night it’s a reasonable choice for visiting Bryce Canyon Park. Cabins look very new and everything works well. You get free breakfast (pretty good for motel breakfast food) and free internet. The front desk staff is friendly and efficient. We were running late on check-in because of our drive from Las Vegas and they called me on my cell to check on us. The only negatives are slight…the bath / sink are small and somewhat awkward with little storage for two people, four people would have been a nightmare. In the evenings there was a strange smell wafting over the entire neighborhood…..I ask my wife “what’s that smell?”…it wasn’t completely awful but a definite “funky smell”. Upon investigation the place is surrounded with small sheep pastures. I concluded that the evening “funk” was emanating from the sheep farms. Welcome to the rural west!

If you happen to be traveling the four corners areas area as we were, beware of the confusing time zones. There is an hour difference from Tropic Utah and Las Vegas. Now Arizona, right below Utah, does not observe day light saving time, so they are off Mountain time by one hour…..but wait, the Indian reservations in Arizona DO observe day light savings time, so they are off one hour from the rest of AZ. If you are traveling between Las Vegas, Utah and Arizona and the Indian reservations and have booked tours at a particular time you will need a fricking abacus or be well versed in higher mathematics to figure out exactly what the time of day is!!!!!

This was the best hotel in our three week trip! The Cabin was in good condition and the staff are really friendly. The weather was bad when we got there so we had coffee in the reception area. This area is also where the included continental breakfast is served. There is two restrurants in Tropic, both in walking distance. We went to the pizza place and that was very good. Be aware that you have to order food to get a drink in Utah.

Loved coming back to our comfy cabin after a long day of hiking. It was clean, quiet and a good value. The lady at the reception desk was very welcoming. I wish it was closer to Bryce (about 15 min drive) but it was so nice and peaceful. Continental breakfast was good.

Room Tip: We had the last cabin, #31, which was the furthest from the street with no people or car traffic.

Nice, clean place with comfortable bed. Very friendly staff. We had reserved a motel room, but asked if we could upgrade to a cabin. The front desk lady let us look at the motel room and the cabins. We immediately decided to upgrade and booked an additional night. The motel room was a little crowded and seemed clean, but it was not the kind of place I would have been comfortable in. However, the cabin was spacious, the bed comfortable and no noise from the road (we had a cabin at the back, but let's face it, Tropic is not a real busy town unless it's the height of tourist season). I would stay here again without hesitation. Breakfast was typical pastries, toast, cereal, etc.

Room Tip: Be aware that the motel rooms are in a weird little building connected to the Pizza Place. The hote...

We slept 3 nights while visiting Bryce Canyon NP. Breakfast included. Room was really nice. Air conditioning. Free wifi. We loved the honey and vanilla yoghourts! If you have the opportunity to be closer to the park, Tropic is a little bit far.
