Just returned from a visit to Bryce Canyon and Cedar Breaks. We enjoyed the quiet town of Tropic while relaxing away from the crowds at Ruby's Inn. The Bryce Canyon Inn needs an ice machine as ice is only available from the Pizza restaurant from 11am to 9pm. You need to consider that if you want an adult beverage after a long day at the park. We agree that the cabin was clean and convenient. The Continental breakfast was the same menu I enjoy everyday at home and the inn keepers are warm and friendly.

We had a very nice stay at Bryce Canyon Inn for two nights while visiting Bryce Canyon National Park. Tropic is a small town of population 460 about 7 miles from park entrance (roughly 15 minutes), making it a good base for visiting the park. The Inn is small, with a series of closely-packed standalone cabins with log-cabin type construction and exposed beams. Ours had two queen beds, a minifridge, a microwave, a CRT TV, a small round pedestal table, two chairs, and two more chairs outside on a small concrete stoop. The bathroom was somewhat small, with the sink in the room, separate from the tub/shower and toilet, but quite serviceable. Continental breakfast, served in the office area, consisted of: toast, bagels, juice, coffee, packaged fruit cups and fresh bananas, cereal, milk and yogurt. The cabin was extremely clean, quiet and pleasant. The staff was very friendly with lots of knowledge about the park. When our WiFi didn't work initially, Tyson cheerfully rebooted his system and everything was fine. Overall, we consider the Bryce Canyon Inn an excellent value would definitely recommend it.

An affordable accommodation near the Bryce Canyon area. Rooms are comfortable though simple. The economy room has a bed, bathroom, and a tv. Parking is located at 2 places - in front of some cabins and for some rooms, next to an adjacent pizza place.

The "cabins" lacked nothing. The space between cabins serves to eliminate noise from adjacent rooms. The tranquility of Tropic adds to the Inns lure. Nice stay + Nice town + Nice people = Guaranteed return.

This log-cabin cottage style motel is located in Tropic, about 10 minutes from Bryce Canyon National Park. There was free parking in front of each cabin. Check-in was quick and friendly. The Bryce Canyon Inn is all non-smoking, a trend I’d love to see become universal.

The large room had wooden walls that consisted of the flat interior sides of the pine logs the cottage was constructed from. A vaulted ceiling added to the spacious feeling. Furnishings included two queen beds, a night table between the beds, a three drawer dresser, a small round table with two chairs, 25” CRT television, refrigerator, microwave and coffeemaker. The Wi-Fi connected easily and speeds were fine.

The bathroom had a separate room for the tub and toilet, which is nice if someone wants to use the bathroom or take a shower while someone else is using the vanity. The only downside is that the vanity area was open to the bedroom, so any light or sounds could wake a sleeping person. The vanity was about 3 feet wide, so space was limited. The shower used one of those high-pressure showerheads that inject room air into the water stream, making the stream almost sting against your skin. Another downside is that the aerated water filled the bathroom with mist, leaving all surfaces wet with droplets after a shower.

The air conditioner kept the fan on continuously as the compressor cycled. This is much better than the usual setup where the fan goes off with the compressor making an abrupt change in the noise level, which can awaken occupants.

The room was clean, quiet, spacious and comfortable. The only negative is that there was a ½” gap under the door which could invite in bugs, mice or snakes. I stuffed a towel in the gap.

The breakfast included oatmeal, grits, an expanded cereal selection, fruit cups, apples, toast, coffee and juice. The night before we tried some take-out pizza from the related Pizza Place restaurant next door and it was exceptionally good.

Overall, the Bryce Canyon Inn is a clean, quiet and attractive place to spend a night in a log-cabin style cottage at a reasonable price for the area.

Just returned from two nights at Bryce Canyon Inn. It was clean (and I'm a clean freak), comfortable, the breakfast room and breakfast itself was yummy and included in a very nominal price. We loved sitting outside our very private cabin in the evening looking at the jet trails and going over our day. The town is very small but clean with friendly folks. We took a ride down some of the residential streets and found a mixture of extremely well kept up homes with beautiful gardens. You can tell these people take pride in their surroundings. Loved hearing the chickens during the times we were outside and the horses. I'd go back in a heartbeat! Pleasant and serene. Thank you!

So I had the 'economy' room, at $70. No hangers, tv making like it was the 1960s with tons of snow. One word to the management, I was moved. Great room, hangers supplied, small fridge, VERY clean, flat screen tv (no snow). Furniture is all light wood, like pine, so gives a very clean look to the room. Not a traditional headboard (which I don't like as all sorts of bugs hide under those wall mounted back boards).... a wood frame to the bed. Really cool! Now, it is 10 miles from Bryce BUT you want to take the road into Bryce as everything you see in Bryce from the rim, you get to see from the ground during those 10 miles. I am SOOOOO glad I did that as the trip was wonderful...I got loads of photos during those ten miles. Free Con breakfast and coffee/tea all day. What else could one ask for? I got a pizza the first night ($10.50 a 10 inch cheese and soda), ate at the lodge in Bryce the second night but plenty of options to eat in the town of Tropic and on the way to Bryce. So, clean, friendly, great road to Bryce. I was very happy.
