“No Other Place Like This on Earth!”

Quality accomodations set in the most beautiful mountain canyon imaginable. The food is sophisticated and well worth the drive. The Sundance store is fun to poke through and I like the deli and bar too.
If you can only spend the afternoon go anyway or stay overnight and hike the beautiful trails and grounds. I built a sunken patio in my yard just like theirs. The conversation pit. Love it !

“Absolutely Pristine”
Reviewed January 7, 2013 via mobile

Went to Sundance to ski with my family. Went mid-week the week after the "Holiday Weeks" and we had the mountain to purselves. Both my boys (5 and 10 yrs) ended up with private ski lessons (only paid for group lessons) while my wife and I walked around the pristine grounds. This resort is nature at its finest. Thank you Mr. Redford for keeping this resort as a testament to the splendor of Mother Nature's creativity!

“Unique and captivating”
Reviewed December 18, 2012

Sundance holds a special place in many travelers' hearts. A small resort that is mindful of its footprint on the mountain. Some of the most beautiful scenery of all of the Utah ski resorts. Be aware that every skier must take the same lift (Ray's Lift) to get up the mountain and reach other lifts. Lines can be unbearably long on Saturdays and holidays. I would also recommend avoiding Friday afternoons because the local school district runs extensive ski lessons for students. Sundays are blessedly empty since this is a religiously conservative area (most of the locals are at church). Mid-week is an opportunity to experience the resort as your own private snow playground! A nice resort for confident beginners and intermediate skiers and snowboarders with one exception--the final hill down to the base can be scary for early beginners. Not a great place for first beginners as there is only a tow-rope on the bunny hill and not a real ski lift. The Foundry Grill and the Tree Room are 5-star restaurants on site. Sunday brunch is a regular treat for me and my husband. Nothing else is quite like this resort.

good place to chill, good food, just take your time and enjoy the setting, if you are staying in a cabin make sure to get your groceries in Heber or Orem, not a whole lot at Sundance you can cook..

We love everything about Sundance. Great food, beautiful mountains, the decor etc. We go up at least once a month and take all of our guests when they come to town.
