“only place in town”
Reviewed May 30, 2014

Poor service, although it was a very busy day. Food not that great and expensive for what it is. Only place in town to eat, but won't be back.

“A Hidden Treasure”
Reviewed April 6, 2014

Stopped by for a breakfast when passing through the town. What a treat!! a nice variety to choose from- my friends ordered the German sausage and potatoes and oatmeal respectively. I ordered the omelet with fresh fruit. All of us left full and happy with our choices! The toast was thick homemade style and totally wonderful. My omelet was fluffy and perfect. The sausage and fried potatoes were cooked to perfection as well. The oatmeal and applesauce dish was a refreshing change.
Am going to keep this gem on my list and make it a point to visit more often and try their other lunch and dinner menus.

“Great surprise”
Reviewed August 15, 2013 via mobile

Usually when a restaurant is the only place in town you take what you get. The big surprise comes when your taste buds are rewarded with a great meal. I was meeting a friend and this was a convenient location. Turned out to be one of the highlights of my visit. I know they serve breakfast and lunch, not sure about dinner. Spring City is a short detour off the main highway but this artsy crafty town should be a tourist stop over and the Das Cafe a great place to eat.
