“Food Poisoning??”
Reviewed April 20, 2011

Don't stay here. I got food poisoning (or otherwise ate bad food) the night I arrived (@ the Aerie restaurant on the 10th floor). I stay/ski often at 6-10k feet (including 4 weeks prior), so I don't think it was merely the 8k foot altitude. Won't be back.

“Not Worth It”
Reviewed March 18, 2011

This restaurant is billed as a high class dining experience, but is anything but.
The food was very expensive and unremarkable at best; for example the foie gras was the most expensive appetizer ($19) and had no flavor, the spinach salad drenched with an unpalatable thick dressing, the entrees were cold and the champagne was warm. It you are skiing at Snowbird, try someplace else.

“Good Burgers in Aerie Sushi Bar”
Reviewed January 22, 2011

We had dinner at the Aerie Sushi Bar, not the main dining room. The Burgers and beer on tap were very good. Early in day has a great view of the ski slpoes at Snowbird from the 10th floor of the Cliff Lodge. Good atmosphere.

“Horrible food to match the Horrible Decor !”
Reviewed November 25, 2010

We ate the Thanksgiving buffet here today and it was by far the WORST food We have ever eaten at a restaurant or Buffet!

The quality of the food was about as poor as you could possibly get!

The chocolate cake did not even taste anything like chocolate! It tasted like they made it with coco powder, alcohol and crisco!. They even made the ganache toping with coco powder as well...oh it was BAD!

The pumpkin pie did not taste anything like pumpkin, it was unrecognizable in flavor! My husband will eat anything that ends in the word pie and he couldn't even eat this.

The sashimi was warm...not just Luke warm but actually WARM! and the rolls were so loose that it fell apart on my plate.

They burned the bread in the stuffing which mostly consisted of raisins and little bits of burnt bread.

They had this pumpkin soup that was just horrible! It was heavily over spiced with a strange mix of spices and was just inedible.

The store bought cookies were dry as a bone and hard as a rock! and so were the store bought rolls!

They had some kind of meat with this horrible kinda sweet, kinda sour, kinda throw-up sauce on it that was sooo nasty that I could not even swallow it.

The only thing I could choke down was the turkey, mashed potatoes and ham.

They did have cold, out of the box Kraft mac and cheese on the kid table that my husband found somewhat edible.

But when you pay $37 for a meal you kind of expect the food to at least be edible!

Walking into the dated and strangely decorated restaurant, it is easy to miss the nice view out the window because you are too busy trying to squeeze passed all the people and chairs in the over packed dinning area.

The booth seats were the WORST! You sink in about 5 inches when you sit down at the table. my husband looked like a little kid with the table coming up to his neck, and he is 6 feet tall.

I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy !
