I took my wife to Carvers for Valentines Day for a special dinner. We had been there in December on a business dinner and had thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The place seats a lot of people but it doesn't feel crowded. In fact, the decor and ambiance are very nice. Elegant, yet comfortable. On both occasions, my wife had the salmon stuff with crab. It was fabulous. I have had the NY strip and a rib eye cut. Carvers offers various 'styles' which are extra rubs, marinades and toppings. I have tried a couple of these styles and they really add to the flavor of the meal. I have settled on the Bleu Bayou style which has a cajun rub, topped with melted bleu cheese and grilled onions and mushrooms. It is amazing!
Their desserts are well worth the extra calories.
The service is friendly and attentive, without being hovering or obtrusive.
It is a wonderful dining experience. I highly recommend it for a very nice dining experience.
