It is a beautiful building with a great pioneer history. the grounds are peaceful and amazing for being in the middle of a desert.

“Beautiful and holy place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013

Nice to have guides to answer our questions.
Really nothing to dislike here. It is understandable that visitors may only enter the visitors' center and not enter the temple itself.

Loved the grounds, the Spirit felt inside, and watching my son Johnny get married to his girl - Marcy.

“Friendly Atmosphere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2013

We went to the visitors center. We learned a lot about the history of the early settlers of St. George. The people running the center were very friendly and made us feel very welcome.

“It's beautiful but....”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2013

Unless you are Mormon all you can see is the grounds and a visitor center. So don't go out of your way to see it. Also ignore the review that said St George is just there to get you to become Mormon. This is so untrue and so unfair to us non Mormons who live in Utah. St George is a beautiful city and is a gateway to Zions and other parks. Don't let that guys review scare you away. Not everyone in Utah is Mormon and Mormons don't go around trying to convert you anyways. Some do but they do that in other churches as well.
