Description: George’s Corner Restaurant is in the heart of Downtown St. George. It serves breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week. The atmosphere is casual and the food is made fresh to order every day. George’s Corner celebrates the history of St. George by featuring pictures and family photos from the 1900’s. It stands on the same corner as the old Big Hand Café that was one of the first iconic restaurants in St. George. Today history repeats itself; George’s is becoming the new gathering place for the community. Live music is offered every weekend and the biscuits are fresh every morning.

My family requested we go here for breakfast.

It is a very open, unique atmosphere. Waiters, waitresses, very professional.

The coffee - stronger than most places - I like it this way, Boyd's - coffee.

Everything was good - not excellent.

I had the Chorizo Omelet. Did not like it. The spices used were terrible for my palette. Also the omelet was flat and folded and I prefer pan omelets that are fluffy - there were HARD pieces of inedible (bacon?) - nearly broke a tooth, chorizo was in my opinion over cooked.

The rest of the dishes turned out normal. Go figure, A Chef like me gets the terrible part, right? It happens.

I'd give it another try, but never the Chorizo w/hard over-cooked shards of bacon. again, that was just wrong to me.

Service was good, forgot a couple of things. No biggie.

There is a bar and the place would be great for a date, family or hanging out for a few drinks.

Very imaginative menu, attractive atmosphere, delightful server named Leann. May be same owner as the Painted Pony which is also very good and recommended.
