“Good food, disorganized service”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 21, 2013

We ate here with a tour group. They had been notified that we were coming. The menu is extensive, and the food fresh. I ordered the "roasted turkey harvest wheat berry" salad and an assortment of small cookies. They were delicious. The only problem was that the staff didn't seem able (trained?) to move things along. The counter is long, so if there's a crowd, you need to wait at each station (baked goods, soup, salad, sandwich) before you reach the cash register. The woman at the register was having a hard time even though she was helping only one customer at a time.

“Nice atmosphere and friendly staff, small portions and pricey for a cafe.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 12, 2013

Came here for lunch on a weekday with my daughter. Everything sounded good on the menu, so they kindly helped me decide on the best "value". Value in this establishment means tiny portions for restaurant prices. A cafe like this should be more reasonable, but my food turned out good and the service was decent. They accidentally gave me an extra cookie but I won't be coming back anytime soon!

“Obsessed!!!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 29, 2013

I am absolutely obsessed with the broccoli cheese soup! The staff is always nice even though Im usually there about 30 minutes between closing due to my own schedule. The food is natural and always tastes fresh. The cookies are gooey and delicious. My fiance says the sandwiches are always good (I havent tried them).

Stay away from the muffins though, they arent very good.

Price is a little high but the soup is so worth it.

“Paradise Lost”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 20, 2013

We arrived at 11am July, 19th.
Ordered 1/2 BLT without butter or mayo. Dark toasted Bagel with butter.
Was difficult because server comprehension challenged.
Got to register, order incorrect: whole BLT & no bagel.
Got two cups for coffee.
Light roast - out. Tell lady on register. "Will be a few minutes."
BLT arrived: stale sour dough bread, limp lettuce & butter.
Bagel arrives warm but not dark toasted.
Tell Manager (Lydia) we still need Light Roast.
Two cups of coffee arrived.
Milk sours - has expired May 25th (nearly two months ago!)
Mens: One basin no water.
Womens: Door lock needs repair. Tell Lydia.
We leave after 35 minutes - still no Light Roast in carafe!
Conclusion: Staff present but not caring.

“Overall, poor...”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 10, 2013

No one got sick - so that's good.
It was business, so I had no choice.
First thing that comes to mind is Value - or lack there of.
Small portions, way over priced.
Food is bland.
Steak/White Cheddar - over priced & bland.
Ham & cheese - over priced & bland.
Grilled cheese - really bland & over priced.
I'm not sure what else the group got, but I was afraid to ask.
Drinks were ok, cookie was ok.
The ordering process is silly too...get your food here, order drinks there, get this drink here & your coffee there.
Don't waste your money - as there are many fast food chains in the mall area that would be better.
