Review of The Ledges Golf Club in St. George

The Ledges Golf Club in St. George
More attraction details
Attraction details
Recommended length of visit: More than 3 hours
Owner description: Located only a scenic five minute drive north of St. George on Bluff Street, The Ledges Golf Club offers world class golf unlike anything else offered in Southern Utah. You'll admire the natural beauty and breathtaking views of the surrounding sandstone mountains while enjoying a round of 9 or 18 holes. This facility boasts conditions that rival, and even exceed, conditions at private clubs. The experience begins in the parking lot where friendly staff will drive a cart to your car to load your clubs and deliver you to the clubhouse.

“Great Golf Course”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 27, 2013

This course is in beautiful condition. The fairways are mostly wide and lush and it plays long. The back 9 is spectacular with great views of Snow Canyon. The carts are fitted with GPS systems which helps with the yardages and also for ascertaining where the group in front are. A pity there are no toilets on the front 9 but there is water at regular intervals. I would play here again.

“Best in a long time.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 15, 2013 via mobile

I have played this course several times. This is the best I've ever seen it. They have put the water to it and all the fairways were very nice. Like others have posted about bad conditions I agree there have been some bad times. Hope they keep up the good work.
I would suggest that it be given another shot.

“Fine Golf Course”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 29, 2013 via mobile

Recommended by a friend who used to live in the area. Very enjoyable golf course with generous landing areas and lush fairways. The back 9 is spectacular, front 9 OK. Great view over Snow Canyon from the green at #14. Very friendly, welcoming staff. Excellent afternoon price. If in the area, I will definitely play this course again.

“A once fantastic course”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 27, 2013 via mobile

Several years ago, this was a world class golf experience. It has a phenomenal layout, especially the back nine. Unfortunately, they have really let the course go to pot. The fairways are aweful. I wish Troon would buy this place, put some money into it, and return it to its former glory. Until then, expect this course to feel a lot like a muni course at a higher price.
