Owner description: The St. George Dinosaur Discovery Site at Johnson Farm preserves thousands of dinosaur tracks in place right at the site of discovery. Walk through a snapshot of an early Jurassic lake ecosystem and meet the dinosaurs and other animals that left their tracks here. See the world's largest collection of dinosaur swim tracks, and a rare track made by a crouching meat eating dinosaur, including hand impressions! Enjoy our special exhibit room and our Dino Park where kids can dig in the sand to find dinosaur tracks and practice making their own footprints! The museum is fully air conditioned. Bathrooms, water fountains, and a gift shop are available. Well behaved small dogs are welcome.

“Time Well Spent!”

I thought this was an a great place to see dinosaur fossils, footprints, bones, teeth, etc. It was intimate and didn't feel to commercialize. You are able to get up close to the exhibits. There was a guide walking around and available to ask questions on a one-on-one basis. There's a great display on the left side that's good for children. It's a self walking tour so you could take as much time as you want. Definitely worth the trip.

“Interesting place but expensive and not much to see”
Reviewed February 16, 2013

The Dinosaur Discovery Site at Johnson Farm is a small but interesting museum and is one of the few places where you can actually see real dinosaur bones and not merely replicas. However given all this the museum itself is small and admission is a little expensive given how little there is to actually see there. If you're into natural history and like dinosaurs this is a great place to visit. If you are thinking about brining your kids I'm not sure this museum is appropriate for anyone except older kids. I don't there is enough there to keep younger children interested.

“Cool place to visit with kids”

This is just a fun place for small children. The dinosaur tracks are fascinating to see and the story behind finding them is worth the price of admission

“Interesting”

Informative and friendly volunteer guides gave us some interesting information and facts. Saw for the first time experts in their field cleaning up live samples of dinosaur discoveries. Site is an ongoing discovery site as well as an educational tool for all ages! And a few of the volunteers and good old Canadians. Thanks for the experience and its only six bucks to get in.

“Great little museum”

Fabulous collection of dinosaur tracks on the place where they were discovered. Very interesting. They are now preserved in a nice little museum with helpful staff.
